Direct TV Overview
The Direct TV content or channels are sent from the Direct TV Program Source to the Direct TV Distribution Centre and from there they get beamed via Geo-synchronous Satellite to your home. There the Satellite Dish picks up the signal which has been Compressed & Encrypted. Your Satellite Receiver decodes the signal and sends it to your TV.
